In 1917 Cartier launched its most famous model: the Tank. In the following years the brand introduced many versions of the Tank. One of them being the Cartier Tank Obus that was introduced in 1929.
Contrary to the regular Cartier Tank, which has a rectangular case, the Tank Obus has a squared case. Very distinctive are the unique lugs, which remind a lot about bullets. A detail we love are the blue steel Breguet hands. The 18k yellow-gold case measures 24 x 24 mm excluding the lugs. Like most Cartier models, it has a white dial with black-painted Roman numerals. The watch comes on a black leather strap with the 18k yellow-gold Ardillon buckle and dates back to 1995.
